Hon Commissioner for Commerce, Industry and Business Development Ebonyi State, Barr.Oguzor Offia-Nwali has empowered over 20 business entrepreneurs and non indigenous Ebonyi base entrepreneurs to benefit from the magnanimity of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru

beneficiaries
According to Commissioner for Commerce, noted that he led the team of Ebonyi Pink Exhibition 4.0 Empowerment Beneficiaries to the office of Her Excellency, the wife of the Governor, Chief Mrs Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Nwifuru for official issuance of their cheques accordingly.
“Recall that on 26th October 2024, i announced to you that over 20 business entrepreneurs of Ebonyi State extraction and few other non indigenous but Ebonyi based entrepreneurs were fortunate to benefit from the magnanimity of our dear Governor-Rt Hon Bldr Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru who came through for them when their Excellencies surprised them with a visit to the Pink Exhibition program which took place at Ebonyi shopping mall, Abakaliki.”
Barr. Offia-Nwali disclosed that his quest to encourage entrepreneurship among young Ebonyians who are genuinely doing business to earn a living and contribute meaningfully to the growth of our economy, “His Excellency and wife in their usual kind gestures stormed the arena serenely with loads of fortune and blessed these industrious Ebonyians with very significant amounts of money through my ministry to support their trades and businesses. These amounts varies across different lines of business, some got as much as 7.5m, 5m, 3m , and more.”
He further noted that the empowerment was seldomly done to show love to the young lads and encourage economic stability and independence among young people. In my view, there is no better way to touch lives of people and uplift the masses other than through altruistic interventions as this.
In her Speech Governor’s Wife, Uzoamaka Nwifuru while presenting the empowerment funds to beneficiaries, he charged them to ensure rightful and proper use of the money so as to accomplish the aim up on which the funds was given.
she also encouraged them to be partners in progress and endeavor to show humanity, reciprocate kind gestures to others and remain committed in their line of businesses in a slogan “we empowered you to empower others”
