A frontline traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof. Saka Matemilola has commended the Boiling Point platform for being a beacon for progress and good governance in Nigeria through an unbroken and consistent hosting of its monthly interview discourse since the past two years.
Oba Matemilola made this known in a congratulatory letter he personally signed and addressed to the Boiling Point Founder and Convener of Boiling Point Arena, Dr Ayo Arowojolu.
The message by the monarch is in commemoration of the 2nd Anniversary of the monthly interview discourse which debuted with a maiden edition in November 2022 and is recording its 24th edition on Sunday October 13, 2024.
Oba Matemilola is Chairman, Boiling Point Council of Royals and Elders of the platform which parades over 300 eminent Nigerians from all walks of life in furtherance of good governance.
The letter, dated 10th October 2024 read thus:”Dear Dr Ayo Arowojolu, it is with great admiration and deep respect that I congratulate you in achieving two years of
continuous, thoughtful discourse through the Boiling Point Arena.
“In just two short years, this platform has established itself as a vital space for engaging in the kind of dialogue that pushes our nation forward.
“You’ve brought together some of the brightest minds; professors, technocrats, industry
leaders, and media professionals, people dedicated to addressing the pressing issues of our time, from governance to economic challenges.
“In doing so, you’ve created not only a space for discussion, but a force for progress. Your Team’s commitment to open conversation, inclusivity, and nation-building has never been more necessary. In times of great challenge, it’s places like the Boiling Point Arena that remind us of what’s possible when we come together, listen to one another, and chart a path forward
for future generations.
“To Dr. Arowojolu, the Organising Committee, and every individual who has made this initiative
a success: I commend you for your unwavering dedication to the future of Nigeria. May the
Boiling Point Arena continue to serve as a beacon for progress and good governance, lighting
the way for many more milestones to come.”
