Some principal officers of the 10th Nigerian Senate led by the Senate President – His Excellency-Sen. Godswill Obot Akpabio alongside the Deputy Senate President-Barau Jibrin and the Senate Deputy Chief Whip- Sen. Onyekachi Nwebonyi among others, on Wednesday received in audience the North Korean ambassador to Nigeria-HE Kim Pankyu and his team the Senate President’s office at the National Assembly complex, Abuja.

The Korean ambassador, Mr Kim Pankyu said he paid the visit to the Senate President – Akpabio in order to explore ways of deepening the bilateral relationship between the two countries. He appreciated the 10th Senate for their people oriented legislations.
While receiving the Korean envoy, Senator Akpabio emphasized the need to strengthen the bilateral relationship with the two countries adding that both of them have a lot of mutual benefits from the union.
On his part, Senator Nwebonyi while appreciating the Korean ambassador to Nigeria-Kim Pankyu for the august visit urged him to accelerate the transfer of technology and other exchange programs that will benefit the two sister countries. He commended the Senate President for his sterling leadership attributes which has united the 10th National Assembly.
