A public analyst and Business man, Godwin Shonekan said this while appearing on a Television programme monitored in Abeokuta, The New Dawn.

According to Shonekan, the Country under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is on a track to repositioning the country through his various economic policies, but Nigerians most especially the youths must play their parts as no nation can develop without the involvement of its citizens

He mentioned the removal of Fuel subsidy as one of those policies, adding that the decision though painful, but a step that must be taken as the country nees to block all the loopholes that may debar it from attaining greatness.

He said government need to raise money to build facilities such as good housing units, good roads, hospitals, meet up with all basic social needs, and the policy of borrowing to build the infrastructure may not be a good way of getting to the top.

He said as good citizens having knowledge about their roles in their communities, State and countries, as well as playing an active role in making the Country a better place to live are essential needs because the Country must go beyond the blame game.

While dissecting the popular speech of the President of Africa Development Bank, Akinwunmi Adesina, on the news for Nigerians to build a good trust character, Godwin Shonekan who is also a religious leader said every citizen must be able to have a good character and trust as no individual will like to associate with an untrustworthy person.

He spoke about the composition of the National Economic Council and the need for them to be a springboard and think tank for the Tinubu led administration, saying that the Renewed Hope Agenda mantra is a concept, if optimally implemented will see Nigeria becoming a suoer power in no less distance future.

While agreeing that the Country should go into action rather than long speech or talking, he said some oil producing Countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and others were able to achieve more because there are proactive leaders, and good citizens.

He lamented that Nigerians are not given free wills to determine what to do with the natural trsouryat its disposal by the World powers. These they do by using the opposition to destroy the dream.

“Mr President has a very good concept with the Renew Hope Agenda, and what he needs is just people that will assist him in driving these concepts.

He said Ogun State can serve as a city in America, Georgia City, with the array of natural and human resources at its disposal.

Also in his contribution, Mr Jare Oyesola, a Business Development Expert advocated for a good moral upbringing, and family value system as every family is an integral part of the Nation, hence the need to build a good trust system.

He said truly Nigeria as it is now have hope of attaining greatness, but every citizen must play its roles well, while advocating that the blame game and the rhetoric of just criticizing every leader must stop.

Let’s ensure we work on the solutions rather than just blaming people for our misfortunes or fortunes, we can start from building trust and everybody playing his or her roles.
