Don’t spray money or you’ll become Kirikiri landlord, says Bobrisky as she holds welcome party

Bobrisky, the controversial crossdresser, has advised Nigerians to refrain from abusing the naira.

Earlier today, the social media celebrity was released from the Kirikiri Correctional Center after being sentenced for naira abuse.

In a now-viral video, Bobrisky was seen inside a luxury car leaving the prison vicinity alongside actress Eniola Ajao.

In the footage, the self-proclaimed ‘Mummy of Lagos’ asked Nigerians to obey the law.

Bobrisky advised people to avoid spraying the naira at parties if they don’t want to be “landlords inside Kirikiri”.

“You have to follow the rules and abide by the laws. Don’t spray money unless you will come and be a landlord inside Kirikiri,” she said.

“You guys, trust me it is not just about killing or any other criminal activities. Something light like this can actually take you to prison, so you need to be very careful.

“I am only focusing on good energy right now and the people who have been there for me, who are my friends. Every other person, I don’t think I am interested.”

Shortly after she regained freedom, Bobrisky hosted a party with friends, including a luxurious boat cruise in Victoria Island, Lagos.

Some of the guests who attended the party included Moyo Lawal and Ajao.

Born Idris Okuneye, Bobrisky was sentenced to six months in prison on April 12 by Abimbola Awogboro, the Lagos high court judge, for abusing the naira.

Awogboro, in her verdict, also ruled that the sentence was without the option of a fine. The judge held that the jail term commenced on March 24, the day of her arrest.

In April, the crossdresser, who was charged with four counts of naira abuse, filed a notice of appeal challenging the six-month prison sentence.

Bobrisky had hoped that the court of appeal would set aside the sentence and replace it with an option of a N50,000 fine on each count.
