The Association of Non Indigenes in Ogun State has called on all it’s members to shun the nationwide protest scheduled to start on the first of August, 2024.

The President of Association of Non Indigenes Resident in Ogun State, Alhaji Inuwa Garba, who also doubles as the Sariki Hausawa of Sagamu said this in a statement he issued in Sagamu, Sagamu local government area of ,Ogun State capital.

Garba Inuwa urges all his members to shun any violent protest, especially the planned nationwide protest scheduled to start from August 1st -10th.

In the release, he however acknowledged that hunger, high cost of living and unprecedented youth unemployment pervade the nation but advised the planners of the nationwide protest to embrace dialogue.

He called on President Bola Ahmed Tinubu to expedite actions on policies that will ameliorate the sufferings of the masses.

He used the opportunity to appeal to the police and other law enforcement agencies to provide adequate security for the Non Indigenes against any form of violent attacks on their persons, properties and businesses within the state during the protest.
