Encouraging further collaboration, Rt. Hon. Ogah urged Sir Fubara to consider taking over some custodial centers in the state, focusing on building and rehabilitating these facilities to alleviate overcrowding. This proposed partnership highlights the importance of cooperation between the federal and state governments in improving the conditions and effectiveness of reformatory institutions.

The visit by the House of Representatives committee demonstrates a proactive approach in addressing the challenges faced by the nation’s custodial centers, ensuring that public resources are utilized effectively, and promoting transparency and accountability.
