The Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, HRM Alhaji Ahmed Muhammed Tijani Anaje, has appealed to the people of Kogi State to live in unity and shun ethnic differences.

Anaje gave the advice on Saturday in his palace while receiving the Kogi State Commissioner for Youth and Sports Development, Hon Monday Anyebe, who paid him a traditional homage in Okene.

The monarch enjoined all tribes in the state to live as one big family by shunning tribal sentiments and work towards the progress and development of the state.

His words: “The three major ethnic groups in Kogi State, Igala, Ebira and Okun, and others should see one another as brothers and sisters. Without peace, unity and stability the society would not move forward.”
