Bandits abduct Taj bank manager, wreak havoc in parts of Zamfara

A gang of bandits in the early hours of Tuesday, invaded Gusau, the Zamfara State capital and kidnapped the manager of Taj Bank, Gusau branch, Mallam Mansur Kaura at his residence.

Salient Times gathered that the bandits stormed the banker’s residence at about 12:30 am and kidnapped him.

It was gathered that the terrorists came with sophisticated weapons and shot sporadically to scare residents before proceeding to the residence of the manager to abduct him.

It also gathered that the bandits also terrorised some areas like Mareri, Damba, Tsauni and Samaru within the state capital before their escape.

No official statement has been released by the security authorities over the latest bandits’ attack
