The General Overseer of Victory Life Bible Church, Apostle Lawrence Achudume on Sunday urged Nigerians most especially youths to focus on how they can develop their God given talents rather than focusing on crumbs from Politicians.
Apostle Achudume also challenged youths to engage in activities that can make them less dependent on the Country, and Politicians urging them to identify their talents and go into entrepreneurship
He further said that Nigerians need to change their mindset and fight all the vices that allows corruption thrive in the society saying that as individuals, Nigerians should use their God given talents to advance the socio economic development of Nigeria.
He spoke while fielding questions from Journalists at the sideline of the Church 2024 annual convention held at the Church premises in Abeokuta.
His words, Let’s be less dependent on the nation and the politicians, let’s trust on God and the gifts and talents He has given to us gifts, and if we can do this, we will change Nigeria and the World.
He added that “during the convention, we were able to engage some professionals who spoke to Our people on how to succeed in different vacations like property, entrepreneurship and others. Nigeria is designed to rule the World and not to be ruled by the World.
Speaking on the theme for 2024 convention and its significance in building a strong economy, Apostle Achudume said the theme ‘This Same Jesus’ gave a renewed mind and a transformed mind to building a new nation, a new economy, a new system, by removing animosity, hatred and ethnicity and replacing it with contentment and hope where corruption and other vices will give way to development.
