Gov Alia Warns LG Chairmen: To Desist from corruption, Says ‘EFCC watching You

Governor of Benue State Rev.Fr Hyacinth Alia while declaring open s three day retreat for local government Chairmen on Monday at Royal Choice inn in Makurdi, Benue State, warned them not to be corrupt, saying that EFCC is watching them
Governor Alia who open the workshop with it’s theme response leadership for effective administration at the third tiers governance noting that all hands must be on deck to collectively enhance development at third tiers governance in the State.
He Charged the Caretaker Committee Chairmen to carry along everybody in their respective councils urging them to work in constance with his blueprint as enshrined in his seven point agenda.
He called on the caretaker committees Chairmen to intensified efforts in internal revenue generation in various markets in their localities for further advancement in their areas.
According to him let them work assiduously and embarked upon meaningful projects that could improve the lives of rural dwellers for better tomorrow..
