Members of the Correspondents Chapel of Nigeria Union journalists, Benue State Council rising from an emergency Congress on Wednesday in their secretariat in Makurdi, During the Congress unambiguously suspended coverage of activities of universal Education board under the Chairman Dr Grace Adagba

This action became necessary following  the last Thursday courtesy visit by members of the Correspondents Chapel led by it’s Chairman mr Emmanuel Antswen on the SuBEB Chairman

While addressing journalists Dr Adagba said with these much infrastructural development His Excellency Governor Hyacinth Alia is doing it thus appear it is under reported.

Therefore during the visit she tagged members as opposition journalists giving these utterances were demenean until public apology is tender before the suspension would be lifted.

She also accused members of under reporting Governor Hyacinth Alia’s activities which is not true.

During the Congress it was resolved SuBEB Chairman must retrieve the demeaning statement and tender unreserved apology

Meanwhile Congress eulogise Governor Hyacinth Alia for developmental stride in less than one year in the saddle.

Consequently the forum applauded the efforts of the media handlers to the Governor Alia, particularly his chief press Secretary CPS Mr.Tersoo Kula and the principal special Assistant mrs Bridget Kyado for their speedy action in respect of the matter confronting members and SuBEB Chairman on the hand.

Be warned that any erring member who goes contrary to the Congress decision would be accordingly sanction.
