Power outage: Criminals now stealing solar panels from building rooftops in Lagos – Lady alleges

A Nigerian woman has raised the alarm over the recent trend of solar panel theft in Lagos state.

In a video making the rounds, the lady said someone she knows recently left home for a picnic and the person returned two days later to discover that the solar wasn’t working. Technicians were invited to check what the problem was and they discovered the solar panel installed on the rooftop of the building to see if the wires had been damaged. It was then discovered that the solar panel had been removed.
