Benue State Govt Denies Misappropriating N20bn LG Funds

The Benue State Deputy Governor Barr Sam Ode has debunked the Claims of missing 20bilion belonging to LGAS in Benue State.
The Deputy Governor Barr 0de in his reaction on the allegations while speaking to journalists on Thursday in Makurdi, Benue capital city.
” Barr Ode himself a one time Special adviser to former Governor Gabriel Suswam emphasised local government systems is transient stressing funds allocated to them are channeled appropriately in their possession.
He further noted none of these 23 chairmen ever raised alarm of any missing funds belonging to them as far as am concerned. Therefore the claims where it emanated from is figment of their imagination. .
“Moreover third tiers administration are between Governor Hyacinth Alia and State House of Assembly, imploring it is applicable anywhere in the federation.
Frankly speaking hence we came on board not even a dime is embedded to the best of his knowledge pointing out is not true.
According to him, the case is before the National Assembly for further prompting let’s restrained patience and see the outcome of their petition.
