Governor of Benue State Dr Hyacinth Alia has accused his kinsmen of deliberate plot against his administration for no apparent reason.

The Governor made this assertion through his aide Mr Donald Kumun in a statement made available to journalists in Makurdi.

The statement indicted his kinsmen for allegedly inviting Fulani herdsmen in Niger with desire to destabilise his leadership.

He observed the influx of large number of Fulani cattle rearers is overwhelming indicting his kinsmen of sponsorship to invade and cause mayhem .

Alia, expressed dismay over the conduct of those bent on running him and his government down, imploring no one is an island to other after all were are all stakeholders in the project.

He however maintained that law enforcement agents were doing their work keeping vigilance should should gģincase of any uprising.

Analysts insisted the only option to prohibits open grazing by herdsmen is to adapt to anti- open grazing law enforcement established in 2007 by immediate past administration.
