The much-anticipated discourse on how to bring lasting solution to the current wave of insurgency, banditry and kidnapping in Nigeria promises to be intense on Sunday February 11, 2024 as two more eminent speakers have been penned down to offer divergent perspectives in pointing the way forward.

To feature on the popular online interview, Boiling Point Arena, are a foremost traditional ruler, the Olowu of Owu Kingdom, Oba Prof Saka Matemilola, a retired Deputy Inspector-General of Police, Leye Oyebade and Brig-Gen, Olumuyiwa Okunowo(rtd).

The topic of discourse is: *Insurgency, Banditry and Kidnapping: Saving Nigeria From The Cul-de-sac*.

The once-in-a-month current affairs programme holds via Zoom on Sunday at 8pm and is expected to be transmitted live by a radio station, SWEET 107.1FM for a two-hour duration.

While Oba Matemilola is expected to give a keynote address to herald the interview, the duo of Gen Okunowo and DIG Oyebade are to offer insightful perspectives on the lingering insecurity in the country which has reached an alarming level.

In particular, the top security experts will expectedly unravel the missing link in the current approach by the Federal government in the hope that a working strategy can be reached to produce realizable result to tame the monstrous challenge.

The programme is the 16th installment since the online interview started in November 2022.

The discourse is under the aegis of BOILING POINT Group, a news and general interest platform comprising an array of eminent personalities including over 300 professors, technocrats, Industry leaders, Justices, security top shots, media professionals and several others.
