Gunmen invaded Benue Community, kill 35

At least 35 persons were said to have been killed by suspected Fulani herdsmen who invaded Ugboju in Agatu local government area of Benue State.
It was discovered that the suspected herdsmen surrended some other communities including Ugboju in the early hours of 7a.m our sources hinted the gunmen were shooting and killing natives indiscriminately
Salient Times checks uncovered that the Fulani terrorists were said to be heavily armed, numbering over 100 spread their tentacles to other adjacent communities
An onlooker who spoke on condition of anonymity informed that number of casualties is yet to ascertain as survivors were still searching for the bodies of those killed, saying six bodies recovered this Thursday morning. While other corpses still uncounted for.
When contacted, member representing Agatu state constituency in the House of Assembly, Hon. Godwin Edoh described the spate of killings as unprecedented
Hon. Edoh recalled that these massacre is becoming worrisome, lamenting his people are like chikens in their own land
Recalling sometime during 2022 similar unprovoked visited wondering aloud if these impasse defiled solution.
The lawmaker called on the law enforcement agents to find measures towards nipping in the bud these uprising
