President-General of a Benue Social Cultural Group, the Mdzough-U-Tiv (MUT), Worldwide, Mr Iorbee Ihagh has shown his concern over the current security challenges facing the tribe.

President-General of MUT, retired Controller of Prisons, CP Iorbee Ihagh, who spoke with Salient Times on Tuesday in Makurdi, Benue State, expressed dismay with the high rate of insecurity bedeviling the Tiv Nation in the Country, and the in activeness of his kinsmen in allowing the trend to fester for a long time.

He noted that other nationalities are regrouping if at the end of the day, Nigeria should split regrettably, his people remained adamant on the shaky nature of abnormalities going on in the Country.

Mr Ihagh further said the signs are not in the best interest of the Tiv Nationalities who occupies a major areas in the North Central of the Country, observing that Afenifere, Ohaneze and far North are ready if Nigeria dismembered today.

Mr Ihagh, an Oxford University breed, urged Tiv Nation and other Middle Belt indigenes to wake up from their slumbers asking them to take decisive resolutions on the agitation.

He urged relevant stakeholders including those in diaspora to organise discussions on “where do we go from here and chart a way forward.

It will be recalled that efforts was made at different times to convocate dialogue on the matter several attempts fails.
