Ayodeji Olamilekan Oniyide has advised Nigerians most especially the youth to stop name tagging Aged adults as witches most especially aged women because they sit at home.

Oniyide who is aspiring to be a local government chairman of Yewa-South under the umbrella of All Progressives Congress (APC) gave the advice while speaking with newsmen in Abeokuta, said he noticed that because aged women stays at home most youths in community sees them as witches and wizard on this note he will be willing to give priorities to the aged if given the opportunity to serve as the local government chairman.

While revealing his plan for the aged, noted that most times politicians put priorities on the youth, women and children forgetting the aged ones which makes him want to give priorities by picking them up in the morning to a game center which he is going to create for them, give them food make th.play games in order for them to interact with one another and drop them by 6pm for go relax for a new day.

Oniyide Ayodeji,a United Kingdom based business mogul also revealed that which time he visits Yewa-South he see new things which can be done in the local government hence the reason for his aspirations.

While speaking ,he promised to make education priority and training of youth for various locations.

“When I looked at my community ,I believe I have a lot I can input and I can do to lift up their livelihood of people in my community.

I want to step into the shoes of my late father who was the former secretary of the local government during Abacha time,Chief Solomon Abiodun Oniyide,I have been to in and out of the community and I discovered that there is no unique development in the area.

I want to have a foundation where aged one will be picked up to a game center where they will be looked into play games and interact with themselves.

Most time people look at aged ones and refer to them as witches and wizard I want to clear the impression of seeing aged ones as witches most especially women.”

It saddened my heart when I read or hear news about an aged been stoned or tagged as Witch because they are old and they could not work or move as we do”.

One thing most people failed to understand is that we are all going to get old and be in their shoes one day that we will not be able to run and move as we do now or go to work as we do now so why the name tag because they are old.
