According to the command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Omolola Odutola, the erring officer was caught on camera extorting a student of Tai Solarin University of Education in Ijagun, a district in Ijebu Ode Local Government Area

Odutola disclosed in a statement on Tuesday that the command acted on the complaint lodged by Soyemi Funmilola on January 13, 2024, and upon the report, a thorough investigation was conducted by the State Criminal Investigation Department and the officer was found guilty of misconduct.
