Bimbo Ademoye congratulates onscreen husband Kunle Remi on marriage to Tiwi

Actress Bimbo Ademoye has congratulated her onscreen husband Kunle Remi on his marriage to his partner Tiwi.

Kunle made the surprise marriage announcement in an Instagram post on December 31 with loved-up photos of the couple.

The 35-year-old said Tiwi’s confidence caught his attention and her big smile and laugh captivated him.

“Her confidence caught my attention. She is vibrant and the type who turns heads when entering a room – you can’t not notice her. She’s a supermodel. Not only did her big smile catch my eye immediately, but the way she threw her head back when she laughed captivated me,” he said during an interview with Kristina Innemee.

He described Tiwi as a lover of God and one who is dedicated, consistent and hardworking.

He said: “What I love the most is that she is a lover of God, dedicated, consistent, and hard-working. She is a constant inspiration to me. She is also very, very caring. The caring sometimes enters into overdrive, and I need to remind her not to take on more.”

Bimbo who could not hold back her excitement over the news of their marriage stormed the comment section of the post to congratulate the couple.

The actress who was once rumoured to be Kunle’s girlfriend said she already knew about the marriage but they made her keep it a secret.

She wrote: “Finally!! I hate when y’all make me keep secrets. my faves. Hey tiwi.”

Rumours of Bimbo and Kunle being an item spread following their roles as husband and wife in Kunle Afolayan’s Netflix hit Anikulapo with their love-making scene, setting tongues wagging.

The actress, however, spoke about her relationship with her co-star in an interview at the movie premiere in 2022.

The relationship became a subject of discussion again after Bimbo wished Kunle a happy birthday in an Instagram post on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 and also called him “oko mi” which in Yoruba means my “husband”.
