In 2022, West went on a series of anti-semitic rants on social media, alleging that the Jews control Hollywood.

He also took to X to say he was going to “go death con 3 on the Jewish people”.

The comment led to his ban on the platform and also prompted fashion brands like Adidas, Gap and Balenciaga to end their partnerships with him.

Weeks after his rant, West issued an apology to the Jewish community over his antisemitic remarks.

Last month, the rapper referenced the antisemitism in a yet-to-be-released song titled ‘Vultures’.

“How am I antisemitic? / I just f**ked a Jewish bitch,” the lyrics read.

In a post written in Hebrew on his Instagram page on Tuesday, West expressed remorse for any unintended harm caused by his words and actions.

He added that he is willing to make amends and promote unity.

“I sincerely apologise to the Jewish community for any unintended outburst caused by my words or actions,” he wrote.

“It was not my intention to hurt or demean, and I deeply regret any pain I may have caused.

“I am committed to starting with myself and learning from this experience to ensure greater sensitivity and understanding in the future.

“Your forgiveness is important to me, and I am committed to making amends and promoting unity.”

West is currently working on a collaborative album with Ty Dolla $ign, his colleague, titled ‘Vultures’.

‘Vultures’ will be released on January 12.
