The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Community Development (South East) Barr. Chioma Nweze has Commended Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru’s landmark achievements made so far in the state

She called for partnership with state government and other relevant organization to in order to achieve her plans towards driving the President Ahamed Bola Tinubu’s Renewed hope in south east and Ebonyi state

Mrs Nweze made this known to Journalists in Abakaliki on Wednesday, when she paid a courtesy visit to Ebonyi state Governor Francis Nwifuru, to intimate on some challenges of the Local Communities for possible intervention by Mr. President and also discuss on federal government commitment towards development of Ebonyi and Southeast in general

She, therefore promised Ebonyians to attract distribution of Ebonyi dividend through the federal government empowerment scheme

According to Mrs Nweze she said , “I am here to partners with the Governor of Ebonyi state in order to achieve her success in the state and South East in general”

“I come today to Empower the ruler area, because the charity begins at home, I will drive the president renewed hope and make sure Ebonyi state benefited”

Mrs Nweze, therefore congratulated Governor Nwifuru and his wife for their wedding anniversary held yesterday, she prayed for more blissful marriage blessings and God’s grace upon them.

She also expressed joy towards achievement of Ebonyi Governor Nwifuru on his administration , ” In the last Five months , the governor has achieved a lot, which include payment of outstanding gratuities, Increment of workers salary, Empowerment of Ebonyi youths, recruitment of medical personnel, approved construction of roads and rehabilitation of roads and among others in different local government area of the state

She disclosed one of her Empowerment program ongoing to ruler community organized by IFDA , and also thanked the Governor Nwifuru for releasing N4million to support IFDA to start up their projects

In respond Ebonyi state Governor Francis Nwifuru congratulated Barr Chioma Nweze on her appointment and encouraged her to become good Ambassador of the State by putting in her best in the job.

The Governor, however called on Federal Government to site more projects in the State.

According to him ” Said it has become worrisome that no Federal Government project is currently going on in the state, describing it as unacceptable.

” It is unfortunate that currently no federal government project is going on in Ebonyi State, that is the number one thing we plead with you to tell Mr. President. Even the Teaching Hospital we handed over to them is not functioning optimally, including the David Umahi University of Health Sciences. As it stands now , Ebonyi State Government is giving the university One Hundred Million Naira every month to sustain the institution” Governor said.
