Police declare celebrity punter Killaboi wanted over girlfriend’s death

Lagos State Police Command has declared wanted a celebrity gambler Benjamin Nnanyereugo aka Killaboi who confessed on Instagram to killing his girlfriend Augusta Osedion.

Killaboi, 26, had said in July that he “mistakenly” stabbed his girlfriend after they got into an argument. He also said he ran away out of fear and has been suicidal since then.

The self-acclaimed blockchain developer and crypto purveyor has been at large since then despite the spokesman of the Lagos State Police Command Benjamin Hundeyin confirming the case was being investigated.

Nigerians on X brought up Killaboi’s case after the police declared a singer Primeboy wanted for allegedly failing to honour invitation for questioning over the death of his childhood friend Mohbad.

However, on Tuesday, the Police Command declared Killaboi wanted, saying all available options to bring him in had failed.

The statement said, “The Lagos State Police Command hereby declares wanted Benjamin Best Nnanyereugo.
