The Commander and Chief Executive Officer of Ogun State Traffic and Enforcement Agency (TRACE), Commander ‘Seni Ogunyemi has urged officers and men under his command to be security conscious while on duty and protect the image of the agency by maintaining their integrity.

Commander Ogunyemi, who made this known during the agency’s extended monthly management meeting for the month of September at the TRACE Board Room, Ibara, Abeokuta, said they should be able to study situations and not be involved in vices.

In a statement signed by Passover Adeshina, Press Officer, TRACE, stated that Ogunyemi called on all men and officers of the TRACE to uphold the core values of the agency, improve its public image profile, and be involved in actions that would continue to promote the image of the agency before the citizens of the State

” TRACE is doing well based on the report we always get from the general public, particularly the motoring public. We know the strategy because it is our job. People don’t know how we do it, as they wonder how we always get to accident scenes on time and maintain a free flow of traffic on the roads. Please, let us continue to protect and project the image of TRACE by maintaining our integrity, by being security conscious, and being the best at what we do”, he said.

While appreciating the present administration for supporting the agency, the TRACE boss, charged the officers to discharge their duties diligently, as well as shun bribery and corruption.

Speaking on behalf of other management staff, the Area Commander, Ogun West, Commander Adekunle Ajibade, assured of the commitment of the officers, adding that they would put in their best towards ensuring safety of lives and property in the Ogun 12 major traffic corridors.
