2023 Ebonyi Gov”s Cup: : Sen. Nwebonyi Donates N1Million To Ebonyi LG Football Club Winner

The Deputy Chairman, Senate Committee on Public Accounts, Senator Bar Onyekachi Peter Nwebonyi has donated one million Naira cash to Ebonyi Local Government Football club,winner of the 2023 Ebonyi Governor’s football cup.
Senator Nwebonyi who was thrilled by the outcome of the grand finale of 2023 Ebonyi State Inter Local Governments Football Competition held on Sunday at Ngele Oruta, township stadium Abakaliki , while he made a whooping cash donation of One Million Naria to Ebonyi Local Football club,winner of the cup.

the Media Aide to the Senator, Representing Ebonyi North Zone, he noted that Senator Nwebonyi commended Ebonyi LGA football team very highly for making his Local Government proud, , that they deserved to be celebrated in a unique way.
He assured of his preparedness to host them in a grand style soon, while special packages will be giving to some deserving individuals that displayed special acrobatics during the tournament.
He thanked the State Commissioner for Sports and Youth Development for successfully hosting 2023 Ebonyi State, Inter Local Governments football Competition.
He further heaped praises on Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru for creating the enabling environment for talents hunt especially in football.
“Let me most sincerely appreciate my brother and Governor of Ebonyi State,His Excellency, Chief Francis Ogbonnaya Nwifuru for creating the enabling environment for sporting activities to thrive in the State”
Senator Nwebonyi congratulated the Executive Chairman of Ebonyi Local government Area,Barrister Prince Chinedu Uburu on his leadership ingenuity in assembling the best team that won the trophy, that is being celebrated all over the state today.
