The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria Sen Oluremi Tinubu, has attended the 2023 Imo State August Meeting with Ebonyi State Governor’s wife , Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru, while encouraging women to take cognizance of the struggles other women face and support them to ensure that their legacies are preserved.

Wife of the Nigeria President, Oluremi Tinubu stated this on Saturday during the 2023 Imo state August meeting with the theme “Umu nwanyi na akwado ibe ha na-eme ka ihe na-eme” was held at the Rear Admiral Ndubuisi Kanu Square, Owerri, Imo State and hosted by the First Lady of Imo State Barr Chioma Uzodinma.

The First Lady of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, therefore thanked the Governor and wife of Imo state for their invitation to come and experience the 2023 August meeting.

She appreciated the Imo people for voting massively for the All Progressive Congress during the last election.

In her opening remark, the wife of the Imo State governor, Barr Chioma Uzodinma, appreciated all dignitaries and women during the grand finale of the 2023 Imo state August meeting.

Barr. Uzodinma appreciated her husband Sen Hope Uzodinma for his support in carrying Imo women along in his governance and further thanked women in the state for their massive involvement in the polices and programme of the present administration.

Speaking on the Theme, the Imo state First Lady advised women to do all within their power to enthrone peace as women are more vulnerable to issues in the society.

She also advised women to support their husbands and love themselves, as more can be done in the society when women come together to support one another.

The first lady of Ebonyi state Chief Mrs. Mary-Maudline Uzoamaka Ogbonna Nwifuru accompanied the Imo first Lady in taking the commanding salute of the women match past during the ceremony.
