The Executive Chairman of Ikwo Local Government Area, Ebonyi State Barr. Sunday Nwankwo has felicitated the Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru on the occasion of the grand finale of the 2023 Ojiji Izhi festival

This was contained in a statement signed by Hon, Barr. Sunday Nwankwo, the Ikwo Chairman, who stressed that Ojiji is a strategic event marking the new yam celebration by the Izhi Clan.

His words,  “Culture is the identity and pride of a people. It unites and develops the people.

“It is a thanksgiving occasion for the bumper harvest of the year while looking forward to a more productive year ahead.

“Your Excellency, as you join your kiths and kins, both at home and in the diaspora to celebrate the 2023 Grand Finale of Ojiji Festival, I pray that it brings uncommon unity, solidarity and prosperity to our brother clan and the State in general.”

“Your Excellency, happy Ojiji. Gee Ojiji jitakwaru ayi iphe Oma ooo!!
Gee ajia ya ree ooo!!!” Ikwo Chairman said
