Tonto Dikeh searches for ‘mentally ill’ singer Solidstar

Tonto Dikeh has asked for help in reaching out to Solidstar, the Nigerian singer believed to be battling mental illness.

Last week, a video of Solidstar went viral on social media where he was seen roaming the streets barefoot and in tattered clothes.

Reacting to the video, the family of Solidstar revealed that the singer “is sick and has been battling a lot mentally”.

The singer’s brother said the family is seeking financial help.

In an Instagram post on Thursday, Dikeh asked how she can get through to Solidstar’s management.

She also recalled how the ‘Omotena’ hitmaker assisted her when she started her music career.

She described Solidstar as a “selfless human” who should not be “outside”.

“How can I get through to Solidstar’s management or family? That’s my street blood mehnnnnn, dude was ready to sacrifice it all for me to do well musically,” she wrote.

“Na me just no hear word!!! Never charged a penny, never agreed a gift, not even a hug.

“Such a selfless human, I’m hurting that he has strong men and he is still outside. Oooo Wronge Pls team point me to the right direction. Thanks!!!!”

In 2019, Solidstar recounted how he nearly lost his life from a drug overdose.
