Ebonyi State Government, under the leadership of Governor Francis Ogbonna Nwifuru, has officially announced job vacancies for Ebonyi graduates and non-graduates in the Public Service

The announcement was issued and signed by Hon. Vincent Awoke, PRO of the Ebonyi State Civil Service Commission

The Chairman of the Commission noted that an array of vacancies across different categories has been made available.

Category A (GL12) – Veterinary Doctor: If you hold a degree in Veterinary Medicine and are registered with the Veterinary Council of Nigeria (VCN), this could be your opportunity to serve and contribute to the welfare of Ebonyi State.

Category B (GL09) – Higher Registrar Geologist: For those possessing a degree or HND from a recognized institution in a relevant field, the role of Higher Registrar Geologist beckons.

Category C (GL08) – A Myriad of Opportunities: This category unveils a plethora of positions including Administrative Officer, Environmental Health Officer, Scientific Officer, Health Record Officer, and more. If you hold a degree or HND from a recognized institution in a relevant field, there’s a place for you in the Ebonyi State Civil Service.

Category D (GL07) – Diverse Roles for HND/OND Holders: Secretarial Assistant, Store Officer, Pharmacy Technician, and other roles await those with HND/OND qualifications from recognized institutions.

Category E (GL06) – Starting Steps: With OND qualifications from recognized institutions, aspiring candidates can step into positions like Assistant Executive Officer, Technical Assistant II, and more.

Category F (GL04) – Entry Level Opportunities: WAEC/NECO/GCE holders have the chance to kickstart their careers with positions such as Valuation Assistant, Heavy Duty Motor Driver, and Clerical Officer II.

According to the Chairman of the commission, the application procedure is open for Passionate individuals of Ebonyi indigenes to seize the chance by submitting their applications

‘The applicants should enclose in a file jacket along with photocopies of credentials and relevant documents.

‘A curriculum vitae and two recent passport photographs should accompany the application.

‘All submissions must reach the office of the Chairman, State Civil Service Commission, Block 10 Centenary City, Abakalilki no later than 31st August 2023.

Chairman also advised Ebonyi applicate not to miss out to apply for their benefits, while encouraging them to visit the Ebonyi State Civil Service Commission notice board at their office in the Centenary City for comprehensive details and additional information.

This announcement offers an unprecedented opportunity for qualified individuals to join the ranks of the Ebonyi State Civil Service, contributing to the growth and development of the state while carving out a promising career path.
