Dispatch rider jumps into Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge lagoon

A yet-to-be-identified man jumped into the Lekki-Ikoyi link bridge water today August 8.

Commuters who took the road rushed to the barricade of the bridge to see if the man could be seen calling for help.

The police arrived at the scene and cordoned off the area while the official rescue team has been alerted

Confirming the incident, the spokesman for the Lagos State Police Command, SP Benjamin Hundeyin, said

“Our men are there, controlling the crowd as other rescue teams arrive”.
