In recognition of their outstanding performances among security officials in Sagamu, Ogere and indeed the whole of Remoland, six TRACE Officers have received awards at the prestigious Life Reward Award ceremony.

Speaking during the awards ceremony held at the Right Lifestyle Auditorium, Sagamu, the Akarigbo and Paramount Ruler of Remoland, HRM. Oba (Dr.) Babatunde Ajayi described all the awardees as good ambassadors of Ogun State.

Oba Ajayi, represented by the Asoju Akarigbo, Chief Abiodun Osesanwo, said security officials should be recognized for their roles in bringing peace to Remoland, appreciating TRACE Officers for maintaining sanity on the highways.

” The reward of any good ambassadors of Ogun State should not only be in heaven but here on earth. I want to appreciate our security officials, the Police, Amotekun, TRACE and others for their roles in bringing peace to Remoland. Everyone recognized your dedication and service to humanity and here you are today, receiving various awards for your efforts” he said.

The Akarigbo called on them not to relent but put in more effort, continue helping the people and support the present administration in bringing dividends of democracy to Remoland and indeed the whole of Ogun State.

Speaking earlier, the organizer of the event, Apostle Isaac Adegbola said the award ceremony was organised for uniform personnel in Remoland in recognizing their roles and encourage them to do more for their communities.

According to him,” Africa is used to the lifestyle of celebrating people after their death but we now thought of those who risk their lives for the sake of others. Those who are not sleeping while others are sleeping. So, we want to appreciate them while they are still alive”

Apostle Adegbola advised the people of the State to stop abusing the security officials as they are playing special roles in various communities.
