Joy Ajanaku, the wife of the late Prophet Elijah Ajanaku, has called out gospel singer, Tope Alabi, for neglecting her since her husband’s unfortunate demise.

Prophet Ajanaku, the founder of Christ Revival Victory Chapel International, Ayobo, Ipaja, Lagos State, was a household name in Lagos State before his demise in 2013.

The clergyman was Alabi’s spiritual father. The gospel singer sang Ajanaku’s praises in most of her songs when the clergyman was alive.

In a recent interview granted by Ajanaku’s widow in commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the clergyman’s demise, she revealed how Alabi neglected her and never called for once to sympathise when her husband died.

She revealed that Alabi was close to her husband for 13 years, so she didn’t expect such an attitude from her.

Speaking further, she added that she didn’t have the gospel singer’s contact, which is why she also didn’t call her.

She also claimed that it was when Alabi met her husband that her fortune changed and she became a global brand.

The late clergyman’s widow also alleged that the secret behind Alabi’s sweet voice is between her late husband, the gospel singer and God.

“Ever since my husband passed away, Tope Alabi has never called to sympathise with me despite how close she was to my husband for 13 years.

“It was after she met my husband that her voice changed. The secret behind her sweet voice is between her, my husband, and God,” she stated.
