The Ogun State Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun has confirmed the appointment of Mr. Babatunde Kassim, as the substantive General Manager of Ogun State Television (OGTV), Abeokuta.

The appointment was contained in an official release issued by the Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun.

Congratulating the new GM, Prince Abiodun described the elevation as a well-deserved reward for his years of diligent service and invaluable contributions to the development of the State at various levels, since he joined the Ogun State Public Service.

The new OGTV General Manager is an alumnus of Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife, where he bagged his first degree in History and MSc in International Relations.

A seasoned Broadcast Journalist, Mr. Babatunde Kassim joined the service of Ogun State Television on June 5, 1992, and rose within the ranks before his present appointment as the substantive General Manager of OGTV.

The new OGTV General Manager is a recipient of the 2016 Ogun State Public Service Awards, as one of the most outstanding Management Officers in the Ogun State Public Service.
