Activities marking the year 2023 Public Service Day celebration in Ogun State begins on Wednesday, 21st June, and will run through Friday, 23rd June 2023.

A release signed by the Head of Service, Mr. Kolawole Fagbohun indicates that the 3-day activity will start on Wednesday with a diagnostic programme tagged “Know Your Health Status’ at the Arcade Ground, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta by 9.00 a.m and would be declared open by the Head of Service.

The Day 2 of the programme will on Thursday, feature football matches, in the male and female categories between teams from the Civil Service and the Parastatals, at the M.K.O. Abiola Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta by 2.00 p.m.

While the grand finale of the celebration, according to Mr. Fagbohun, which is the Public Service Day Lecture will hold on Friday at the Obas’ Complex, Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta at 10.00 a.m.

“All Public Servants are hereby enjoined to actively participate in all the activities lined up for the celebration and be seated at least 30 minutes before the commencement of the events, as attendance will be regarded as part of official duties”, the release added.
