Hon Abiodun Oni commiserates with Gbagura indigenes over the Passage of Oba Sabure Babajide Bakre
The House of Representatives aspirant for Obafemi Owode/ Odeda/ Abeokuta North Federal constituency under the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Honourable Oluwafemi Samuel Abiodun-Oni has joined other well-meaning Nigerians to commiserate with the people of Gbagura community in Abeokuta over the sudden passage of its monarch, Oba Babajide Bakre, Agura of Gbaguraland.
Abiodun-Oni who also extends his condolences to the immediate family of the monarch prays for the repose of the soul of the well-respected late king in Egbaland.
According to a media release by the media team of the Abiodun-oni campaign group, he described the late monarch as an amiable, intelligent and endowed community leader who prioritised the welfare of his subjects.
He further noted that not only the entire Gbaguraland benefited from the development agenda of the late monarch despite his short reign but also many other people who came across him while alive.
He therefore encourage the chiefs, sons and daughters of Gbaguraland to take solace in God for the monumental positive impact the late monarch had on the community despite his short reign.
