No fewer than three persons were killed and many others injured on Friday when some suspected land grabbers invaded a  village in Mowe axis, Kara Village in  Obafemi Owode Local Government, Ogun State.

The report has it that one Alhaji Mutairu  Owoeye allegedly ordered his boys to attack landowners in the area with some dangerous weapons where it was alleged that many were severely injured and 3 people were hacked to death.

An eyewitness who spoke to our correspondent alleged that Owoeye and his boys also unleashed terror on the helpless residents.

It was further gathered that the land grabbers were armed with cutlasses, guns,  broken bottles, sticks and iron rods.

Efforts by Our Correspondent to get Alhaj Owoeye’s reaction proved abortive as all calls put across to him were not answered.
