American music act, Taylor Swift, has been listed as the second richest female in music, according to Forbes’ Richest Self-Made Women in Music list.

According to the publication, the singer is now worth $740 million, making her the second richest woman in music behind Rihanna, who still almost doubles Swift at $1.4 billion from her music career and cosmetic line.

The talented music artiste now surpasses Madonna, who is worth $580 million, as well as Beyonce, whose net worth is reportedly $540 million.

The new ranking put Swift at number 34 overall on the ‘Self-Made Women’ list which includes Oprah Winfrey who is worth, $2.5 billion, and Pand and Express co-founder Peggy Cherng with $3.2 billion, amongst others.

The 12-time Grammy award winner made her money from her music career and business.

Swift’s total ticket sales from her ongoing 2023 Era Tour have been applauded even though the tour has not yet ended.

According to Billboard, the proceed from the tour could make her the highest-grossing female touring artist of all time.

She also has a real estate portfolio which is worth millions of dollars.
