Middle-aged man found dead under Mango tree in Ekiti

A middle-aged man, identified as Tunde Akindunbi, has been found dead under a mango tree in the Dallimore area of Ado-Ekiti.

Our correspondent who visited the scene gathered that the incident could have happened in the middle of the night.

Although the cause of his death has not been ascertained as of the time of this report, neighbors said he was still seen at 8pm on Friday.

Neighbours said the deceased was found in a position that suggests he committed suicide but others claimed the position was suspicious.

They are alleging that he may have been killed and hung to avoid any traces.

When contacted, the spokesman for Ekiti State Police Command, DSP Sunday Abutu said investigation has commenced into the matter.

He said two persons have been invited for questioning to assist the command with necessary information.
