PDP Chairman beaten to coma in Ebonyi dies
The Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party in Ezza North Local Government Area of Ebonyi State, Peter Nweke, is dead.
Salient Times recall that he was attacked during Saturday’s Governorship and House of Assembly elections.
The spokesperson of the Ebonyi State Police Command, Onome Onovwakpoyeya, confirmed Nweke’s death on Sunday.

Onovwakpoyeya said Nweke after he was beaten up he was rushed to the hospital unconscious, where he was later pronounced death by a doctor.
She said the Police had launched an investigation into the death with a view to arresting and prosecuting anyone responsible
