Ogun PRP Governorship Candidate, Teacher Cyrus Oluwaseun disassociate self from Dapo Abiodun’s endorsement by IPAC
The Ogun State Governorship Candidate of People’s Redemption Party, Teacher CYRUS Oluwaseun Johnson Akinfenwa has disassociate self from the purported endorsement of Prince Dapo ABIODUN, the Ogun State Governorship Candidate of All Progressives Congress for another term in Office.
In a statement personally signed by Teacher Akinfenwa, he said contrary to media report, he remains a strong contender in the Governorship race.
“This is to bring to the notice of the general public that the purported meeting was for the Inter Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Ogun State Chapter of which it’s State Chairman (Engr. Samson Okusanya) happens to be the State PRP Chairman as well.
“I was in a meeting with my party Chairman in person of Engr. Samson Okusanya when he was called for IPAC meeting with the Secretary to the State Government of Ogun State (Mr. Tokunbo Talabi) and told me to join him as an Observer at the meeting.
“Unexpectedly to me, the issue of endorsement issue came up.
‘However, in the State IPAC Chairman statement, there is no where he mentioned PRP or it’s Governorship Candidate being part of the said Endorsement.
“My presence at the meeting was a mistake and I accept my fault.
‘This is to re – assure our Party Faithfuls and the General Public that I have not in any form endorsed Prince Dapo ABIODUN MFR for a Second Term in office.
