Akintunde Congratulates Tinubu, Rallies Support For Gov Abiodun’s Second Term Bid

Akintunde in his congratulatory message also use the medium to urge people of Ogun State to support the re-election bid of Gov Dapo Abiodun slated for Saturday, March 11 saying that it is the right thing to do to further take the state to greater height.

Armstrong affirmed that the re-election of Prince Dapo Abiodun and other state assembly candidates in the state are of utmost importance to him because the ruling party remained committed to serving the common good of Nigerians.

He said “I want to use this opportunity to thank the good people of Ogun State for their commitment and voting in the APC presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and National Assembly candidates in Saturday presidential polls. Ogun people against all odds queued behind Gov Dapo Abiodun to vote for our party candidates and this you can’t take away from the scintillating performance of the governor in the last four years. We really appreciate this”.

Speaking further, the APC chieftain added that it is becoming clearer everyday that the second term ambition of Gov Dapo Abiodun would eventually be a walk over.

“I have watched many epistles written concerning our hardworking Governor, Prince Dapo Abiodun, I have no doubt in his re-election bid.

“Gov Dapo Abiodun of our dear state has no doubt been exceptional with governance in the state, the developmental projects have been very huge across the state and just like scholarship is given to exceptionally brilliant student, the governor should be rewarded for another term because of his brilliant performance in the last three and half years.

“It’s the least we all can do to ensure that the unprecedented development across the state continues beyond 2023, in terms of mobilisation, our group, Dapo Abiodun Continuity Agenda (DACA) has been doing a lot of work in this regard, we have left no stone unturned in all the 20 local governments and the agenda is to ensure a seamless second term for our hardworking governor, our target is to mobilise at least 10,000 votes for the governor in each of our 20 local governments.

“In fact those who want to contest against the governor are losers already because you just don’t disband a performing team”, – Akintunde posited.
