Ogun: Reprieve as Senator Odebiyi Facilitates rehabilitation of Joga-Orile, Ibooro, Imasai road

Residents of Joga-Orile, Ibooro, Imasai and Ibese in Yewa North Local government area of Ogun State are gradually heaving a sigh of relieve as the rehabilitation of the 13 kilometer road has commenced.

Salient Times report that the main stretch of the road has been in a state of neglect for long thereby creating hardship for commuters, especially, farmers from transporting theirefarm produce to markets

But with intervention of the Senator representing Ogun West, Senator Tolu Odebiyi, the rehabilitation has started in earnest and it’s being handled by the Federal Maintenance, Agric and Rural Development.

Speaking, Senator Odebiyi advises road users to be cautious on the road and cooperate with the workers especially during this yuletide.

He noted that the job when completed, will ease transportation of agricultural products to the market and further boost socio economic activities around Joga-Orile Ibooro Imasai and Ibese communities.

Senator Odebiyi also enjoined the people to watch over newly installed solar lights around Ayetoro, Igbogila and others to prevent vandals from assessing them and enhance security of the benefited communities.

While appreciating Senator Odebiyi for facilitating the project, Baasi of Joga-Orile, Chief Musa Akinbode said the rehabilitation, when completed, will reduce the hardship being faced by the commuters in the axis.
