Nkechi Blessing, the Nollywood actress, has paid a visit to Adeyeye Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife.

The movie star shared photos from her visit to the monarch’s palace via her Instagram page on Monday.

In the post accompanying one of the photos, Blessing appreciated the Ooni for the “warm reception” given to her.

She also described the monarch as a “jovial king” who made her “laugh hard”.

“Ever met a jovial king? Well, this picture says it all, I have never laughed this hard in a long time. Thank you so much for the warm reception his imperial majesty Ooni Enitan Adeyeye Ogunwusi Ojaja II. God bless your existence kabiesi,” she wrote.

Her meeting with the Ooni comes a few weeks after she joked about her desire to become the monarch’s seventh wife.

Ogunwusi has been in the news in recent times for marrying several women.

In another post, Blessing revealed that she was at the palace as a judge for the 2022 edition of Queen Moremi Ajasoro (QMA) beauty pageant.

The QMA beauty pageant is a cultural event aimed at preserving and promoting the legacies of Moremi Ajasoro, the late Ife queen.

She also expressed her gratitude to Aderonke Ademiluyi, the pageant’s ambassador, for the opportunity to serve as one of the judges.

“It was an honour to be invited to the palace by olori Aderonke Ademiluyi Ogunwusi as one of the judges for qmainternational. Indeed we are doing so much good in the eyes of strangers. I do not take this opportunity and privilege for granted ma,” she wrote.

Below are photos of her meeting with the Ooni:
