Hon. Uchin, a Principal Special Assistant to the Secretary to the Government of the Federation on Environment, Sen. George Akume is widely described by community members as a man of honour, humility and compassion, who has distinguished himself through years of humanitarian and philanthropic service to his people.

His life, many speakers noted, has been defined by commitment to community development, service to Benue State and contributions to national growth.

As a businessman and entrepreneur, the Community noted Uchin has consistently championed initiatives that promote grassroots development, touching lives and supporting communities, particularly within Makurdi Local Government Area.

In recognition of his contributions and enduring legacy, the Ugondo Community organised a heroic reception in his honour, celebrating his achievements and reaffirming their pride in his accomplishments.

The occasion also turned into a colourful cultural fiesta as the community showcased its rich heritage through traditional dances, music and other cultural displays that reflected the vibrant identity of the Ugondo people.

In a deeply symbolic moment during the ceremony, elders of the community offered prayers and blessings for long life, wisdom and continued success for Hon. Uchin.
