Ebonyi State government yesterday said it has secured a license to operate its own airline in Nigeria air flight business.

This came barely two weeks the state has purchased 3 aircraft for commercial operation.

“So, we have the license to operate our own “Ebonyi Air” and our flights are on ground.

“However, we have completed the elevation and we have a nine-storey building there.

“And again, we have a very good runway lights which means we can operate even in the night.

“That’s one of the most important things that some airports do not have. So aviation is not something you walk over. They have a procedure and we have met their requirements.

“And very soon you will see cargo flights here. You will see commercial flights here. You will see the domestic and international. They will all be here,” she ensured.
