Chukwuemeka Charles, Chief Executive Officer of Gburus company has received praise for his commitment to the welfare of his employees.
CSP Ignatius Attah, OC Surveillance, State CID, lauded Charles as a “visionary administrator” during the company gathering in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
Attah commended Charles for mobilizing tricycle drivers under his company to engage in a daily contribution scheme, enabling them to save money and make investments.
He expressed delight at seeing drivers receive Christmas gifts, including two bags of rice, a carton of noodles, and a 5-litre container of groundnut oil and cash
“Mr. Charles has surpassed the expectations of many,” Attah said. “Not every business owner would prioritize their workers’ financial independence, but he has taken steps to improve their living standards.”
Attah urged other business owners to emulate Charles’ approach, thanking him for his efforts in enhancing the lives of his employees.
In a heartwarming display of appreciation, Gburus a Nigerian company, distributed food items to about 50 of its workers as a Christmas gesture.
The gifts, which included two bags of rice, a carton of noodles, and 5 litres of groundnut oil and cash, were handed out to staff members.
Speaking with our correspondent, Chukwuemeka Charles ugwuanyi, Chief Executive Officer of Gburus company, attributed the success of the initiative to the dedication of his staff and the support of others who have contributed to the company’s vision. “Everybody in Gburus tried to ensure that things go on as planned. I make sure that workers go home with these gifts, all made possible by the grace of God,” he said.
When asked about his goals for the company, Charles revealed that his focus is on creating employment opportunities. “My target is to see people being employed. This year, we have about 50 persons, but by next year, I am aiming for 150 persons.”
Charles also shared some of the challenges facing the company, citing the current economic hardship as a major obstacle. “The major challenge I face is because of the current hardship on the land, but I believe by 2026, things will be normal.”
In his advice to staff and others, Charles urged them to “have faith in God and to double their efforts to move the company higher.”
Also Speaking, Mr. Sunday Chukwu, Chief Executive Officer of Blessed Sunny Tech., commended Gburus Company for organizing an end-of-year gathering with its staff, describing it as a testament to the company’s commitment to promoting worker welfare.
Chukwu urged other business owners to emulate Gburus Company’s approach, emphasizing the importance of treating employees as “partners in progress” rather than just workers. He praised the CEO of Gburus Company for initiatives aimed at empowering employees, highlighting the positive impact on staff morale and overall performance.
