Anambra governorship poll: INEC uploads 95% of results on IReV

The Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, on Saturday stated that over 95 per cent of results from the Anambra State governorship election have been successfully uploaded to its Result Viewing Portal, IReV.

A review of the commission’s portal showed steady progress in the transmission of results from polling units across the 21 local government areas of the state.

According to data on the IReV portal, most polling units have completed the upload process, demonstrating improved efficiency in the use of technology compared with previous elections.

News Agency of Nigeria reports that INEC has also assured that the results will remain secure and verifiable throughout the process, emphasising its commitment to conducting a credible and transparent election.

The portal indicates that, out of the 5,720 polling units, a total of 5,472 have uploaded their results
