In a statement signed by Honourable Minister Sen. Engr Nweze David Umahi, noted
“I convey with a deep sense of compassion, my deepest sympathy and comfort to the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Ahmed Usman Ododo on the death of his dear father, Alh. Ahmed Momohsani Ododo who passed on the 18th day of August 2025 at the age of 83 years”.

“Your Excellency, as you grief the loss of your dear father, may you find comfort in the fond and beautiful memories of his life and times which was filled with legacies rooted in hope and faith. While alive,your late father related with his people with kindness, warmth and wisdom. His legacy will no doubt continue through the wonderful memories you cherish. Although, we shall miss his fatherly love and counsel, be consoled by the fact that he lived a fulfilled life worthy of celebration. My profound commiserations are with your family, the government and people of Kogi State at this moment of grief. May Allah grant him eternal peace in paradise.”

“Please accept the assurances of the compassionate considerations, esteemed regards, and best wishes of my family, the management and staff of the Federal Ministry of Works” Umahi said.
