A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress, APC and Governing Council Member, University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom State, Pastor Reuben Wilson has expressed heartfelt condolences to the National Chairman of APC, Professor Nentawe Yilwatda over the passing of his beloved mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda.
In a statement issued to newsmen in Yenagoa, Pastor Wilson described the death of Mama Lydia Yilwatda as not only a great loss to Professor Nentawe Yilwatda snd family but to the APC party and the nation at large.
He said Mama was a devoted Christian who dedicated her life to the service of God and humanity positively impacted countless individuals.
He noted that Mama Lydia left behind a worthy legacy through her life of service and the moral values she instilled in the children as can be seen in their accomplishment.
While condoling with Prof. Yilwatda and family, Pastor Reuben prayed to God to grant the late Mama Lydia soul eternal rest.
The statement reads: It is with a heavy heart I received the news of the demise of your beloved mother, Mama Lydia Yilwatda. Indeed such a loss is painful and heartbreaking especially at this time where her motherly advice and prayers are needed most.
” Though death is inevitable, be consoled by the fact that Mama devoted her life to the service of God and served humanity passionately.
” Mama lived a fulfilled life leaving behind indelible and accomplished legacy as can be attested to by the moral values bequeathed to the children.
” As we mourn the passing of a virtuous woman, I pray for the soul of late Lydia Yilwatda to find rest in God’s bossom.”
